Jeans: River Island
Necklace/Polka Dot Satchel: Mozzypop
As soon as the sun comes out I just want my skin darker, my hair blonder, and I have to start getting out the pastels and candy colours. These jeans were a birthday gift (I just turned 25, eek!) from my sister and they are verrrrrry comfortable, and even the length is just right for my dumpy legs! This top is knitwear but very fine, so ideal for Spring/Summer although I had to take it off about an hour later as I was just too hot (and I also got soy sauce all over it, doh!) The pretty little "Be Happy" bracelet is a nice little reminder to keep me smiling on slow days and even better, it was on sale at only £3!
These jelly sandals are filled with glitter and covered in big plastic gems. I feel like a big kid in these but I don't care because... SPARKLES. I'll never grow up!
(this photo was crashed in on by my kitty, the big Weezy! He then went on to roll in the dirt and tease our pet bunny Edward who is head over heels in love with him!)
I hope your bank holiday has been special and you've not been stuck at work! I've only just joined Instagram (come follow me!) in the last few weeks so I'm hoping to do some "week in photos" posts soon as this last weekend has been a fun and sunny one (after many quiet weekends in a row I might add!) I could get a little addicted to Instagram. Too much fun! Leave your link below!

Hummingbird necklace: c/o Lily Charmed
Dainty jewellery seems to be really popular at the moment, from skinny bracelets to stackable rings... and this delicate little necklace fits right in with that trend. I was gifted this beautiful piece from Lily Charmed who are a jewellery company based in the UK creating unique charms and jewellery to "celebrate special occasions and relationships" - each piece you can design yourself and comes with a message card that frames the jewellery with the personalised message of your choice, or you can choose from the pre-designed pieces to tell someone what they mean to you. This one I was sent is designed as a perfect gift for a bridesmaid, and reads a lovely message:
The packaging really is lovely too, it came gift boxed ready to present to someone and wrapped in a silky mint green ribbon...
I love the thought that goes into these pieces...
"Just like the busy and beautiful Hummingbird, this Bridesmaid Thank You Necklace will let your Bridesmaid know she is loved and appreciated every time she puts it on."
I may not be anyone's bridesmaid, but this is a necklace I will wear again and again. It comes in two lengths and is fine Sterling Silver which means if I look after it, it will last a long time! I think the prices for unique fine jewellery are SO reasonable as well, this piece is only £27... and they ship worldwide!
Just beautiful :-)
If you need a gift for a friend, bride, bridesmaid, mum, girlfriend or wife, here you will find a beautiful piece of jewellery with the perfect message to make her smile. My other favourite is this Jigsaw Piece necklace... "we are pieces of the same puzzle". Adorable!

This clock is huge (probably the size of... a pizza?) and it's one of my favourite items in my room. It's massive but really simple and minimal and of course, it's mainly for decor - I don't use this to wake me up in the morning as it would probably scare the life out of me! And I'm not a morning person as it is, without a loud angry alarm going off making it worse!
This super cool item I actually found in Home Bargains of all places, the store that can sometimes be naff but will sometimes have real gems, but either way it's very cheap... this clock was only £7.00. It was going to be a "bottom drawer" item however it suits the bedroom I have now rather well. Think a little room tour post might be in order soon as I love nosying around other peoples homes!

It was only recently I even realised Barry M had a new collection out; the Jewel Glitter collection. As soon as I found out, I snapped up 4 as you may have seen in this haul post!
The shade Amethyst Glitter is not actually my favourite. I absolutely ADORE how it looks in the bottle, it's black filled with pinks, purples, blues, greens and golds with tiny black speckles. However on applying, it dries quite gritty with no shine but I have noticed this before with Barry M... so as with many glitters, at least two top coats of gloss need adding to bring back the sparkly sheen which you see in the bottle - in fact I'm wearing two coats of a Sally Hansen glossy topcoat in this photo! This is actually painted over a purple polish which you can no longer see, so it does apply fairly opaque after just 2 coats. My favourite thing about this is how such a dark polish can be made so bright with glitter!
I wore this for 5 days on false nails and no chips occured! As for on real nails however, I doubt it would last quite as long. But for £2.99 this is a bargain buy. All in all I am impressed with this collection and can't wait to try the others. Each one is a gorgeous addition to any glitter nail polish junkies collection!
